Intersystem navigation was the navigation from one star system to another.
In 2370, con artist Alsia claimed that the Vlugta government accepted her bid for the mining concession of the entire Vlugta asteroid belt, but the transaction would not be finalized until she commissioned a study of the effects of asteroid mining on intersystem navigation. Because all of her money went into the bid, she could not afford the ten thousand isiks required for the study which had to be performed within a week. (DS9: "Rivals")
