Innuendo

An innuendo was an indirect reference to something rude or unpleasant.

In 2367, Jean-Luc Picard, while being questioned by Norah Satie, characterized Simon Tarses' trial as being based on insinuation and innuendo. (TNG: "The Drumhead")

In 2373, Q recalled, among other tactics, having used sexual innuendo when attempting to seduce Kathryn Janeway into having his child. (VOY: "The Q and the Grey")
