Infuser matrix

An infuser matrix was a component of the electro-plasma system, connected to an anodyne circuit. The infuser matrix must be disengaged to replace a damaged anodyne circuit.

While working as a team to repair the USS Discovery's EPS grid in 3189, Commander Jett Reno reminded Paul Stamets to disengage the infuser matrix first. Stamets, crawling through Jefferies tubes, reassured Reno he knew what he was doing. Upon arriving at the damaged anodyne circuit, Stamets removed the infuser matrix, replaced the anodyne circuit, returned the infuser matrix and stabilizing power in engineering.
