The term Indian refers to anything that originates from the Earth Asian nation of India.

People

One of the 37's abducted from Earth by the Briori in 1937 was of apparent Indian descent. (VOY: "The 37's")

According to Marla McGivers' initial assessment of Khan Noonien Singh's appearance, she surmised he was probably from the northern India area and was probably a Sikh. (TOS: "Space Seed")

In the script of TOS: "Court Martial", Captain Chandra was referred to as an East Indian.
The USS Aryabhatta appears to be named after the noted Indian scientist Aryabhata.
