Ice field

An ice field was a large area of floating ice.

In 2375, Tom Paris landed the Delta Flyer II on a Talaxian asteroid in desperation. Tuvok noted that the surface was covered with craters and ice fields, but Paris told him there were no other options. (VOY: "Homestead")
