Hogfish galantine

Hogfish galantine was a food from Enara Prime, reputed to be one of the most complex dishes in the quadrant. It consisted of a whole baked Enaran hogfish, served with a "pungent and astringent" sauce and diced vegetables, and covered with salt.

After being castigated by food critics Legnog and Gonald in 2382 for serving them replicated food, Doctor Gabers Migleemo attempted to redeem himself by preparing hogfish galantine, assisted by Captain Carol Freeman, Lieutenant jg D'Vana Tendi, and Lieutenant jg Sam Rutherford. However, Legnog and Gonald denounced the dish as bland. It later emerged that the pair previously had lost their sense of taste. (LD: "A Farewell To Farms")

Galantine is an actual type of dish consisting of boned, stuffed fish or poultry.
The face of the hogfish appears to be partially based on the blobfish when exposed to decompression.
