Hit-to-miss ratio
A hit-to-miss ratio was a measurement of one's accuracy when firing weapons.
In 2151, during target practice, Hoshi Sato's hit-to-miss ratio with a phase pistol was below fifty percent, something Malcolm Reed noted. Sato remarked that she didn't have as much difficulty with the EM-33. Reed explained that she didn't have to account for particle drift - instead being able to aim directly at the target - and suggested her accuracy would improve if she adopted a more relaxed stance.
