Hinge

A hinge was a piece of hardware that connected a door to an object, allowing it to swing open and shut. Something which depended on another thing was said (metaphorically) to hinge on it.

In 2381, D'Vana Tendi was told to target the hinge. (LD: "Kayshon, His Eyes Open")
