Bridal Chorus
The "Bridal Chorus" was a piece of classical music from 19th century Earth.
This march was heard during the wedding of Angela Martine and Robert Tomlinson aboard the USS Enterprise in 2266. (TOS: "Balance of Terror")
When the biomemetic doubles of Tom Paris and B'Elanna Torres were married in 2375, Harry Kim played the tune on his clarinet, accompanied by two USS Voyager crewmembers playing the double bass and the guitar. (VOY: "Course: Oblivion")
This march originated in the 1850 opera Lohengrin by Richard Wagner and became popular after being used at a royal wedding in 1858.
The version heard in "Balance of Terror" was arranged by composer Fred Steiner.
