Hazard advisory

A hazard advisory was a type of warning that alerted those traversing a region of space about a danger present in the area.

In 2367, Captain Jean-Luc Picard ordered that a hazard advisory be sent to Starfleet to warn them of an unstable wormhole near the Ngame Nebula. (TNG: "Clues")
