Haj (24th century)

Lieutenant Haj was a conn officer on the USS Defiant during the Dominion War.

During the ship's 2374 mission to destroy a Dominion sensor array in the Argolis Cluster, Haj was injured and Doctor Bashir had to take over conn. Later, when relating the story to Angie Kirby, the ensign found Bashir's claim difficult to swallow. This prompted him to ask Jadzia Dax for confirmation, which Dax agreed to supply. (DS9: "Behind the Lines")

According to the script, the lieutenant's name was pronounced as "hahj". [1]
