Gus Le Pre
Gus Le Pre is a hair stylist who worked on the first nine episodes of the fifth season of Star Trek: The Next Generation.
Le Pre received an Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Achievement in Hairstyling for a Miniseries or a Special in 1987 for his work on the television drama George Washington II: The Forging of a Nation which he shared with Shirley Crawford. He also received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Achievement in Hairstyling for a Series in 1991 for his work on the Anything But Love episode "Long Days Journey Into...What?".
Le Pre worked as hair stylist for Liza Minnelli on Cabaret (1972) and for Carol Burnett on The Carol Burnett Show (1969-75). Further credits include the television drama Fighting Back (1980), the television crime drama Our Family Business (1981), and episodes of Logan's Run (1977), Eight Is Enough (1977-81), Dynasty (1982-84, starring Joan Collins), Hill Street Blues (1985), Full House (1987), Hotel (1983-88, starring Michael Spound), Knots Landing (1988-89), The Bradys (1990), Beauty and the Beast (1988-90, starring Linda Hamilton and Ron Perlman), The Family Man (1990), and Dark Shadows (1991, starring Ben Cross and Jean Simmons).
Following his work on The Next Generation, Le Pre worked as hair stylist on Hook (1991, starring Robin Williams, with Caryl Codon-Tharp, Norma Lee, Kim Santantonio, and Francine Shermaine), Wayne's World (1993, with Kathrine Gordon), Mother's Boys (1994), Speed (1994, with Susan Zietlow-Maust), Mad Dog Time (1996, with Linda Sharp and Susan Zietlow-Maust), and Chicago Hope (1994-95).
