Grilled garills a la Neelix

Real world article
(written from a production point of view)

For the Star Trek: Prodigy episode "Let Sleeping Borg Lie", UI graphic designer Dominique Rossier created an info panel for the USS Dauntless mess hall which listed suggestions for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. One of the suggestions for dinner was grilled garills a la Neelix. The garill was a lobster-like crustecean native to the Delta Quadrant. Neelix invented the dish when the USS Voyager was in a prolonged restriction on the use of the synthesizer. This popular dish was a great source of vitamins and protein. It was recommended that this dish should be eaten with the hands. A serving size of one plate of this dish had 241 calories, 2.8 grams of fat, 5.8 grams of sugar, and 45.1 grams of protein. The synthesizer number for this dish was F32.88. Although the panel did not appear in the episode, it can be seen at Rossier's artist page at Art Station. [1]
