Grek

Grek was a Tellarite who served as a Starfleet officer during the mid-23rd century.

In 2256, he was a patient aboard the USS Hiawatha when it crashed on an interstellar asteroid. As one of the few patients too critical to evacuate the ship in the escape pods, his life was preserved by Commander Jett Reno. Ten months and eleven days later, Reno was operating on his brain – attempting to keep a head wound from reopening – when a landing party from the USS Discovery arrived. Grek and the other survivors were transported back to the Discovery before the Hiawatha was destroyed. (DIS: "Brother")
