Gravy

Gravy was a type of Earth sauce made from the juices of various meats.

Meatloaf with gravy and mashed potatoes were available as Starfleet rations in shuttlepods in the 22nd century. (ENT: "Shuttlepod One")

A passage Data recited from A Christmas Carol in 2367 included the line, "there's more of gravy than of grave about you" in reference to the ghost of Jacob Marley, whom his character, Ebenezer Scrooge, believed to be a nightmare brought on by a digestive upset, rather than Marley's actual spirit.
