A glittersmooch was a type of holographic creature from the holoprogram Delta Heart Magical Veterinarian. A green multi-tentacled "glittery puffball," in the program, the user cared for glittersmooches (along with other creatures) at Delta Heart Hospital.

Rok-Tahk often played the program, and considered glittersmooch especially cute.

In 2384, the living construct aboard the USS Protostar trapped the crew in a combination of their favorite holoprograms. One of the first signs they were trapped was Jankom Pog and Rok-Tahk encountering a glittersmooch in a recreation of a Protostar corridor. Another glittersmooch, with the capacity to speak, appeared as a gangster in The Key Club. (PRO: "Ghost in the Machine")
