Gamma Argus system

Gamma Argus system was an inhabited planetary system that was located somewhere in the Alpha or Beta Quadrant.

The Federation starships USS Callisto, USS Enterprise-D, and USS Mustang were ordered to this system in 2364. These starships conducted a survey of the cultural evolution of the natives of Gamma Argus II and, if desirable, make first contact with their culture. (TNG: "Conspiracy", okudagram)

This star system was only mentioned in writing.
In the Bayer designation, which was a system of stellar classification, the Greek letter indicated the brightness of a star in a constellation. In this case, Gamma Argus would be the 3rd brightest star in its constellation.
