Fund

A fund was a collection of money for a specific purpose. An event at which monetary donations were collected for a fund was known as a fundraiser. One notable example was the Bajoran War Orphans Fund.

In 2372, Quark explained that employees of his bar contributed to a central fund that he managed, which paid for their vacations. (DS9: "Body Parts")
