Fredalia tea was a red-colored tea made by the Kelpiens from the fredalia flower.

In 2257, Siranna served fredalia tea to her brother Saru and Michael Burnham. Saru remarked that he had missed it during his time away from Kaminar. (DIS: "The Sound of Thunder")

In a line cut from the episode, Burnham describes the tea as "salty...but fragrant." Bo Yeon Kim also described it as "obviously full of antioxidants". [1]
