Foreplay

Foreplay was the sexual simulation of a partner prior to copulation.

In 2373, as Captain Kathryn Janeway was expressing her disinterest in having sex with Q, he said that she did not know what she would be missing, giving the example of foreplay lasting decades with a Q. (VOY: "The Q and the Grey")

In 3189, Philippa Georgiou said, "What you call pain, I call foreplay.", referring to the torture she suffered at the hands of Zareh. (DIS: "Far From Home")
