Forensic team

A forensic team was a group of individuals who specialized in forensic techniques.

Several forensic teams of the USS Enterprise-D were ordered in 2367 to search for any evidence in cargo bay 4 in the form of DNA samples or biochemical signatures to determine who transported weapons down to Krios Prime. Nelson, Garvey, and Kellogg were among those chosen to join the various forensic teams. (TNG: "The Mind's Eye")
