The Fontana Institute was a scientific research institution of the 24th century. Located somewhere in the Alpha or Beta Quadrant, this institute published the Fontana Institute Review. (TNG-R: "Redemption II")

This institute was mentioned in graphics created for the remastered episode. It was presumably named for D.C. Fontana.
