Foam

Foam was a build-up of bubbles on the surface of a liquid.

In 2372, Jake Sisko dipped makapa bread in his raktajino, startling his father Benjamin Sisko. He explained that it was supposed to happen and that the foam had a strange peppermint taste. (DS9: "For the Cause")
