Flight privilege

Flight privileges were one's permission to fly a spacecraft. They could be revoked as punishment for an infraction.

In 2368, the flight privileges of three surviving Nova Squadron members still enrolled in Starfleet Academy – Wesley Crusher, Sito Jaxa, and Jean Hajar – were revoked as part of their punishment for lying about the Kolvoord Starburst incident that killed fellow squadron member Joshua Albert.
