Flight handling assessment
A flight handling assessment was a test taken by navigators.
According to William T. Riker, as of 2368, navigators on USS Enterprise-D had been doing flight handling assessments the same way for years. Ro Laren claimed to have found a better way, to which Riker replied that they should discuss changes before she made them. She explained that she felt he would have refused her, and he countered that he might have agreed. He just wanted to be given the chance. (TNG: "Conundrum")
