Flea market

A flea market was a public establishment where a wide variety of goods and services were sold.

In 2369, Miles O'Brien, when asked by Tosk what the purpose of Deep Space 9 was, said jokingly that he sometimes felt that it was the flea market for the sector. (DS9: "Captive Pursuit")
