Fish person

Fish person was an informal descriptor used to classify sentient lifeforms that had evolved from fish.

Ensign Beckett Mariner described a number of Antedians their kart nearly overran as "fish people", to which one of them who overheard the comment replied, "we're not people!" (LD: "An Embarrassment Of Dooplers")
