First impression

In psychology, a first impression was the initial mental image of another person that someone formed when they first met.

After Captain Jean-Luc Picard left the room, Sonya Gomez said to Worf, "Oh, my. First impressions, right? Isn't that what they say? First impressions are the most important." (TNG: "Q Who")
