Ferret

A ferret (Mustela putorius furo) was a small carnivorous mammal native to Earth. They could be domesticated to become house pets and were trained to hunt burrowing animals. In appearance, they were similar to weasels.

In 2381, Lieutenant Commander Andy Billups owned a pet ferret named Lancelot, which he kept on the USS Cerritos. (LD: "In the Cradle of Vexilon")
