To be in somebody's shoes was to be in their situation.

When wondering if Sisko was attracted to Dax, Bashir said that he would be if he were in Sisko's shoes. (DS9: "A Man Alone")

When Garak accidentally scared away Bashir's holographic love interest, he said that if he were in Bashir's shoes, he would shoot him with a champagne cork. (DS9: "Our Man Bashir")

When Dax was attracted to Worf, who was in turn attracted to Grilka, she told him that if she were in his shoes, she would pursue someone more available and entertaining. Worf countered that she was not in his shoes, and she joked that she could do a lot in a pair of size eighteen boots. (DS9: "Looking for par'Mach in All the Right Places")

A Goody Two-shoes was somebody who was obnoxiously virtuous or self-righteous.

A man staying at Edith Keeler's shelter referred to her as Goody Two-shoes due to the speeches she gave. (TOS: "The City on the Edge of Forever")

Kiss/Lick one's boots

To kiss someone's boots or lick someone's boots meant to be submissive towards them.

When Dax complained about how bossy Sirella was, Sisko retorted that Dax may be required to kiss Sirella's boots to marry Worf, and that she was aware of this fact. (DS9: "You Are Cordially Invited")

Knock one's socks off

Meant to impress somebody.

In 2152, Trip Tucker gave young starship fan Q'ell a copy of Enterprise NX-01's schematics, saying they would knock the boy's socks off. (ENT: "Marauders")

Put the shoe on the right foot first, but put the left foot first into the bathtub

If something fit like a glove, it fit perfectly.

Brass hat

A brass hat was a high-ranking military officer.

Dax stated that she did not know what the brass hats in Starfleet Command were thinking, but as a field officer, she knew that running away would not cause them to win the Dominion War. (DS9: "Favor the Bold")

Feather in one's cap

A feather in one's cap was something to be proud of.

Bashir noted that having an official medical hologram made in his image was a feather in his cap. (DS9: "Doctor Bashir, I Presume")

Caught with one's pants/britches down

To be caught with one's pants down or caught with one's britches down meant to be caught doing something shameful or prohibited.

Geordi once stated an intention to catch some Romulans with their pants down, but Data was unfamiliar with the idiom. (TNG: "The Defector")

Fly by the seat of one's pants

To fly by the seat of one's pants meant to pilot a space vehicle without a plan, instead following one's own instincts and whims.

Dax felt as though she and Kira were flying by the seat of their pants when they were trying to pilot a Bajoran shuttle. (DS9: "The Seige")
