Evora homeworld

The Evora homeworld was an inhabited class M planet in the Evora system in the Alpha Quadrant. (Star Trek: Insurrection; PIC: "The Next Generation")

It was the homeworld of the space-faring Evora civilization, which was technologically less advanced than the United Federation of Planets. In the 2370s, the planet had a population of three hundred million Evora. The planetary government was headed by a regent.

In 2374, the Evora became a warp-capable civilization. After this achievement, the Federation Council decided to make the planet a Federation protectorate. (Star Trek: Insurrection)

A PADD prop, which was only seen from the back in the movie, contained further information on the species and their planet. On the PADD, the Evora were referred to as "Bartisi" and their homeworld "Bartisia Prime". [1]
