Ernie Anderson (12 November 1923–6 February 1997; age 73) was a broadcaster with the American Broadcasting Company (ABC) who narrated the trailers of Star Trek: The Next Generation for the first three seasons of the show. He withdrew from the show due to failing health and was replaced by Don LaFontaine. Anderson died in 1997.
