Epsilon Hydrae

Epsilon Hydrae was a star system in the 'etnap Nebula, which was inside Klingon space in the Beta Quadrant. It was a quaternary star system consisting of the stars Ashlesha (the official name for Epsilon Hydrae A), Epsilon Hydrae B, Epsilon Hydrae C, and Epsilon Hydrae D and at least four planets, including Epsilon IV. Epsilon Hydrae A and Epsilon Hydrae B together formed a binary star system. (VOY: "Equinox", "Equinox, Part II"; DIS: "The War Without, The War Within")

The Epsilon Hydrae system was visible from Earth in the constellation Hydra. It was approximately 129 light years from Sol.

In 2257, the system's location was labeled on a Federation holographic star chart seen aboard the USS Discovery. (DIS: "The War Without, The War Within")

Later that year, the system's location was labeled on the star chart showing the trajectory of Lieutenant Spock's shuttle. (DIS: "An Obol for Charon")

In 2258, the system's location was labeled on a star chart seen on the main viewscreen of the USS Enterprise. (DIS: "Such Sweet Sorrow, Part 2")

In 2259, the location of this system was labeled on a stellar cartography chart that was seen on the USS Enterprise's ready room viewscreen. This system's symbol was a red Klingon Empire logo, indicating its' affiliation with the empire. (SNW: "Strange New Worlds", "Children of the Comet", "Spock Amok")

In 2324, the location of this system was labeled in a chart used during a Section 31 Alpha Team briefing. (Star Trek: Section 31)
