Engineering physicist

An engineering physicist was a engineering position, usually held by a professor, and was mainly responsible for designing weapons.

In 2371, Professor Tolen Ren was an engineering physicist on Banea and designed weapons to combat the Banean's enemy, the Numiri. (VOY: "Ex Post Facto")
