Encore

An encore was a short extra performance that took place at the end of a show or concert, usually in response to audience applause.

In 2151, Trip Tucker, surprised to be held up by Shilat, quipped, "That's a pretty neat trick. Here you are watching me with a gun in your hand while at the same time your corpse is up on the Enterprise NX-01. What do you do for an encore?" (ENT: "Oasis")

In 2366, William T. Riker said to Jean-Luc Picard and the crew, "We'll circuit in auxiliary power to the Bridge. Somehow we'll silence Sousa (music) if he decides to play an encore." (TNG: "Evolution")
