Emerald green

In the script for the Star Trek: The Next Generation first season episode "Encounter at Farpoint", emerald green was a color. When browsing cloth at a shop at the Farpoint Station mall, Beverly Crusher asked if a bolt of this color was available. When the shopkeeper disappeared with a bolt of cloth which was not emerald green and returned with a bolt of cloth which was emerald green, it aroused the suspicion of Crusher and William Riker.

For the aired episode, the color was changed to gold.
