El-Aurian system
The El-Aurian system was an inhabited planetary system in the Delta Quadrant. A planet in this system, the El-Aurian homeworld, also known as El-Auria, was the homeworld of the spacefaring El-Aurians.
During the late 23rd century, the system was invaded by the Borg. According to second-hand accounts, the Borg swarmed through the system, and when they left, there was little, or nothing left of the El-Aurian people. (TNG: "Q Who") The El-Aurian homeworld was in the El-Aurian system but was destroyed by the Borg. (TNG: "Q Who", "The Best of Both Worlds") Those El-Aurians who managed to survive the invasion were scattered throughout the galaxy. (TNG: "Q Who")
Odo identified Martus Mazur as a refugee from the El-Aurian system while Mazur was visiting Deep Space 9 in 2370. (DS9: "Rivals")
By 2384, El-Aurians had returned to the system and had begun the process of rebuilding El-Auria. In that year, this planet was mentioned in a chart of Starfleet allies which appeared on the USS Dauntless logistics strategic data display. (PRO: "Supernova, Part 1")
