EPS wave guide

The EPS wave guide was an electro-plasma system component.

In 2369, as a Klaestron starship carrying the abducted Jadzia Dax attempted to depart from Deep Space 9, the station commander Benjamin Sisko increased the flow to the EPS wave guides. This action countered the Klaestron attempt to disable the tractor beam and the station was able to tractor their ship, preventing them from leaving. (DS9: "Dax")
