A drive-thru was a type of restaurant that allowed customers to order their take-out from their automobiles and receive their fast food through a window.

In 2004, Loomis noted that there was a drive-thru less than a mile from his, Jonathan Archer, and T'Pol's present location. (ENT: "Carpenter Street")
