Douglas Brode (born 4 August 1943; age 81) is a screenwriter, playwright, novelist, film historian, and journalist.

Brode, together with Shea T. Brode, edited the essay collections Gene Roddenberry's Star Trek: The Original Cast Adventures and The Star Trek Universe: Franchising the Final Frontier for Rowman & Littlefield Publishers.
