The Dorothy Chandler Pavilion was a large performing arts hall in the Civic Center district of Downtown Los Angeles. (PIC: "Fly Me to the Moon")

In an alternate 1996, Rain Robinson agreed to meet Henry Starling at the fountain on Metro Plaza, next to the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, to talk about recent happenings in connection to the USS Voyager being swept back in time to 1996. Tuvok and Tom Paris were waiting and watching from behind a column of the Pavilion to see Starling's next move.

Several operas were performed at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion during that year, including Norma by Vincenzo Bellini, Pagliacci by Ruggiero Leoncavallo, The Barber of Seville, Tristan and Isolde, The Return of Ulysses, The Marriage of Figaro by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, and Tosca by Giacomo Puccini. The names of the operas were displayed on large banners on the outside of the building and the name was seen clearly on a sign close to where Tuvok and Paris were hiding.
This building was seen partially in Star Trek: Picard. It was behind the John Ferraro Building in an establishing shot of Los Angeles in 2024.
The Dorothy Chandler Pavilion was one building in the Music Center of Los Angeles County, which included the Ahmanson Theater and the Mark Taper Forum.
