Founded in the 1970s, Donning Company Publishers specializes in packaged books, regional and corporate pictorial histories, and custom commemorative publishing. In 1978, it branched into publishing books for broader audiences including illustrated books and graphic novels, primarily under the Starblaze imprint. In 1985, it was acquired by Walsworth Publishing Company. [1] By the early 1990s, it ended its trade publishing projects, returning focus to its core book packaging and editorial services business.
