Derek Coleman is an actor who appeared as a Fortunate crewmember in the Star Trek: Enterprise first season episode "Fortunate Son". He received no credit for this appearance but was identified by the call sheets.

Between 2000 and 2005, Coleman appeared as a background actor – a White House staffer – in several episodes of NBC's The West Wing, starring Martin Sheen, with Timothy Davis-Reed and Andrew DePalma. He reprised this role in the short comedy Walk & Talk: The West Wing Reunion (2012) and in the special Walk & Talk – The West Wing Reunion: Behind the Scenes (2012). In 2015, he had a supporting role in the crime thriller Violence.
