Delta IV (rocket)

The Delta IV was an American expendable rocket of the early 21st century. The rockets were produced by United Launch Alliance.

In 2002, a Delta IV was selected as the launch vehicle (NSSDC ID: 2002-045a) for the probe Nomad.

Twenty-two years later, illustrations of this vehicle – exterior and cross-section – were included in the display for Nomad at the gala for the Europa Mission astronauts. (PIC: "Two of One")
