Della Van Hise (8 May 1955–3 March 2021; age 65)[1] was a Star Trek novelist.

Van Hise was highly influenced by New Age ideas. She authored Quantum Shaman [2], which she described as being influenced by Carlos Castaneda, and defined quantum shamanism as "Simply this: through an understanding of quantum energy, we empower ourselves to awaken our shamanic abilities."

She also wrote non-Trek material under at least eleven or twelve other noms de plumes. [3]
