DefTech 37 mm launcher

The DefTech 37 mm launcher was a type of projectile weapon which fired non-lethal ammunition for the purpose of pacifying riots. This riot gun was standard issue for law enforcement agencies.

In 2024, during the Bell Riots, SFPD SWAT teams were equipped with the DefTech 37 mm launcher loaded with concussion bombs. These bombs were lobbed at barricades erected at the Sanctuary District A Processing Center by hostage takers. With the barriers breached, the teams entered the center. (DS9: "Past Tense, Part II")
