David Morton is a gaffer and lighting technician.

He worked on Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country as a motion control gaffer and also worked as a stage technician for ILM.

Since working on that single Trek movie, he has found work on Californication, Heroes, Pushing Daisies, and a wide variety of movies.
