David Michelinie (born 6 May 1948; age 77) is an American comic book writer best known for his work on The Amazing Spider-Man and Iron Man from Marvel Comics and Action Comics from DC Comics.

He was given a "special debt of gratitude", along with Walt Simonson, in "Silent Cries".
