Dan Hermansen was a Starfleet officer in the 23rd century who was listed at the Yorktown memorial wall created for the scenes filmed in Dubai for Star Trek Beyond. He was named after Dubai Art Director Dan Hermansen. However, this wall did not appear in the final film.
