As of 2370, despite having left his former job, retired Obsidian Order head Enabran Tain liked to be informed on current events. He opined that Doctor Julian Bashir could tell him all sorts of things he would be interested in hearing. In 2371 of the mirror universe, Smiley informed prime universe Benjamin Sisko of current events - namely, the rebellion against the Klingon-Cardassian Alliance that had begun since Sisko's officers had visited the mirror universe. Their Benjamin Sisko had been the leader of the Terran Rebellion. (DS9: "Through the Looking Glass")
